Currently, we are offering support to various groups and shelters by providing food and exceptional counselors to help children and women heal from the trauma of sexual assault. In 2024, we opened two centers in partnership with Saheli, located in Dwarka, Delhi, and Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkata. Out of the 917 women who sought assistance, 639 discontinued, 7 were rehabilitated, 65 are expected to reintegrate into society by June 30, 16 remain in severe trauma, while the rest will be ready to transition between July 2025 and December 2026.
We have also commenced the construction of our first of two children’s homes in Goa, situated on a 600 square metre plot generously donated by Mrs. Cynthia Rodrigues and her sister Mrs. Gwen Almeida. We will cover the construction costs, and a Corporate House will act as the benefactor under their CSR program to support operational expenses.
